Ravi Teja’s latest Telugu action drama ‘Irumudi’ continues its theatrical run in its third week. The film, directed by Shiva Nirvana, has maintained a strong overall box-office performance despite a noticeable slowdown in weekday collections.
According to the latest box-office tracking, Irumudi earned around ₹2.40 crore India net on Day 18, recording a 64.4% decline compared with its third Sunday collection of ₹6.75 crore. With this, the film’s reported India net collection reached approximately ₹168.70 crore, while its India gross stood at around ₹196.05 crore.
The film witnessed a strong response during its third weekend. On Day 17, Irumudi reportedly collected ₹6.75 crore India net, with an overall occupancy of 57.6% across more than 2,000 shows. The subsequent Monday saw a considerable drop, indicating the usual weekday slowdown during the later phase of its theatrical run.
Trade tracking currently puts the film’s worldwide gross at around ₹218 crore. The movie has particularly performed strongly in the Telugu-speaking markets, helping it maintain momentum even after completing more than two weeks in theatres.
Irumudi focuses on fatherhood, family emotions and the relationship between a father and his daughter, while incorporating elements of action and drama. Ravi Teja plays the central character, with the film attempting to combine emotional storytelling with commercial entertainment.
With strong overall box-office numbers, Irumudi has emerged as one of Ravi Teja’s notable recent theatrical performers. However, the latest weekday slowdown and the fresh controversy surrounding certain scenes are now among the major talking points related to the film.
